<p style="text-indent: 2em;">On the afternoon of April 18, the inaugural meeting and the first general meeting of Xiamen pharmaceutical industry association were held, which marked that pharmaceutical enterprises in Xiamen had an organization for industry self-discipline and safeguarding their legitimate rights and interests.</p><p style="text-indent: 2em;">The association was jointly founded by 7 production and business units, including Xiamen Traditional Chinese Medicine Co., Ltd., Xiamen Tebao Bioengineering Co., Ltd. and Luyan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. At present, it has attracted 84 member enterprises, covering production, wholesale, operation and other fields.</p><p style="text-indent: 2em;">The conference elected Qiang Shifa, general manager of Xiamen Traditional Chinese Medicine Co., Ltd., as the first president of the association. He said, "in recent years, pharmaceutical enterprises have sprung up in our city, and the pharmaceutical industry is booming. There is an urgent need to strengthen industry self-discipline and maintain market competition order and enterprise interests. The establishment of the association ended the dilemma that there is no pharmaceutical industry association in our city, marking that pharmaceutical enterprises in our city have their own 'home'.".</p><p><br/></p>
